Facilities to support UAS operations are available both at the airport and nearby in the third largest Danish city Odense.
Facilities at the airport
The area which is under control within HCA Airport is shown above. Operations can also be performed outside the this area while adhering to relevant regulation.
Facilities available for UAS operations at HCA Airport
- Flight field of take-off and landing.
- A photogrammetric field which can be used for testing of payloads and flight trials in areas with obstacles.
- Paved runway 2000x45 m from which UAS operations can also be performed.
- Rescue and Firefigting Services, fuelling and further information on HCA Airport can be found in AIP Denmark, AIP Part 3, AD2 Aerodromes under EKOD.
- Storage and workshop area for UAS operator can be made available upon request.
