Can you imagine travelling from Odense to Copenhagen in less than 30 minutes? In a CO2-neutral taxi drone?
This could very well be reality within 2-3 years. Serious plans are underway for the first generation of noiseless, CO2-neutral taxi drones that can carry up to 6 passengers for as long as 300 kilometers – enabling fast and climate-friendly flights not only here from Odense to Copenhagen, but also to cities such as Gothenburg, Hamburg and Berlin.
Alongside HCA Airport, UAS Denmark Test Center has an ambition of playing a key role in the development of the taxi drones of tomorrow. Therefore the Municipality of Odense (Odense Kommune) has granted a sum of money to look into how the airport can do exactly that.
